Work Process

The process begins with a discussion with the client and studying the materials provided. Together, we can define a concepcion for a music video and generate film ideas. After brainstorming, I sketch out storyboards with a script. Then I refine the sketches and transfer them to sand art upon approval. This phase is truly unique, as sand art paintings bring a different dimension to the visuals.

Next, I enhance the frames and shoot the video. Typically, the artist also handles post- production work by editing the video. It’s best when all stages of the process are completed by the director, artist, and writer in one.

Ultimately, you’ll receive exactly what was envisioned and planned. However, you can also commission the artist for any stage of the process separately, without intermediaries.

1 You tell me what your goal is, who your audience is, and what idea you want to achieve with your video. You send me the text of the song, audio recording, and some photos.

4 I sends you the sketches for approval and we discuss them together. At this stage we can make changes to the story or to the shots. And we also need to think carefully about editing techniques at this phase.

2 We agree on approximate scope of work and sign a contract; you make a pre-payment.

5 After you have approved the sketches, I paint the frames with sand and send them back to you for approval, since a picture painted with sand looks different than the pencil sketches.

3 I draw storyboard sketches in pencil according to the request. It can be 1 or several variants of concepts.

6 I send you a link for a demo version of the film. If needed, I make final edits to the video. Then you make the second payment installment and receive the masterpiece film.
